Open Air in Schiltern, Lower Austria
See and hear the Choir under the baton of Oliver Stech in the unique setting of the Kittenberg
Gardens near Schiltern. The spectacular "Garden Arena" seats 800, with the same view from every seat.
The concert is part of the choir's 2022 "Together" Tour; the programme consists of songs featured on the eponymous CD. In addition, the repertoire for Schiltern has been expanded for that special garden feeling. For the first time, the choir will perform Gustav Holst's "Hymn to Vena", and a dreamy setting of "O salutaris hostia" by Latvian composer Eriks Esenvalds. Finally, be braced for a truly spooky a cappella version of Schubert's famous "Erlkönig" - to reflect that special garden magic.
