About the Project

Music for Hope is a joint project of Caritas Jordan and the Vienna Boys Choir.

It is co-financed by the European Union's Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund and by the Austrian Ministry of the Interior.



Music for Hope
aims to provide refugees living in Jordan with access to music and music education. In addition, the project seeks to create job opportunities for musicians and music teachers in Jordan.

The goal is to enable refugees to better integrate in Jordanian society and to improve their job prospects - with the help of music.



The Project Provides

  • Training of Trainers - an intensive training for music teachers, with workshops, individual supervision sessions, and training videos.

Teaching / Courses for young refugee musicians

  • Workshops for parents
