Our choirs' repertoire spans several centuries, genres and continents. It includes sacred music – such as the Sunday Masses by Haydn, Mozart, Salieri, Schubert, and Bruckner performed as part of the Vienna Hofmusikkapelle – motets from the Renaissance to today, Gregorian chant, secular songs by composers such as Brahms, Mendelssohn or Mahler, Austrian folk songs and Viennese music (including works by the Strauss dynasty such as the ‘Danube Waltz’), international music from the countries we have visited, as well as major choral-symphonic works such as Mahler’s symphonies or Orff’s *Carmina Burana*. In addition, there are contemporary compositions, crossover and pop music, and finally, operas and staged productions, such as the choir’s participation in Mozart’s *The Magic Flute*.

The Vienna Boys Choir has been touring the world since its first trip abroad in 1926. Today, the schedule includes annual tours to the USA, Japan, South Korea, China, Taiwan, and Germany, as well as a tour to Spain every two years. In addition, we visit various destinations across Europe – most recently, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, Slovenia, Croatia, Latvia, Estonia, and Italy.

The Vienna Girls Choir also tours every year – most recently China and, coming up in 2027, the USA.

Yes. In Vienna, the ‘Gute Hirten’ (Good Shepherds) Christmas concerts have become a well-established tradition at the MuTh concert hall. Another emotional highlight of the Viennese concert season is the Mother’s Day concert at the Musikverein, at which all the choirs of the Campus Augarten perform.
