On Sunday, 20 September 2026, the Vienna Girls Choir will sing their first Mass in the Imperial Chapel. Together with members of the Men’s Chorus and the Orchestra of the Vienna State Opera, they will perform Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Mass in B flat major. Mirjam Schmidt will conduct the performance, which marks the girls’ official debut as part of the Vienna Chapel Imperial (Wiener Hofmusikkapelle). The girls attend the choir's grammar school at Augartenpalais alongside the boy choristers; like the boys, they rehearse for two hours a day. Concerts throughout Austria and tours abroad are part of their schedule, as are audio and video recordings.
